THE PAST

Thefashionbooth started back in 2005 as a dutch streetstyle blog. We saw streetstyle magazines/blogs popping up like there was no tomorrow but there was none in The Netherlands. We had a rough time finding the best outfits of the country but figured out that most Dutchies only dress up when they go out. So we started to take pictures at night in various clubs and at Amsterdam International Fashion Week. The name is a bit sarcastic- don't think in boxes, enter thefashionbooth. You will def. come out our booth with lots of inspiration!

THE PRESENT

Thefashionbooth is no longer just a streetstyle website. We got tired of going out hunting for stylish people outside but were never done with finding inspiration online. That's why we started an online fashion booth- with lots of fashion inspiration. But not only the haute couture side of fashion because we love indie fashion. Haute couture is mainly just something to dream about, while indie fashion is so much more inspiring and touchable in our opinion. But we also wanna be a platform for fashion bloggers and photographers to expose them self for one week at our website.

We started as a dutch blog, but now we're internationally. We try to speak with images instead of words: so even if you can't read english you can visit thefashionbooth.

THE FUTURE

The founders behind thefashionbooth are always busy creating more projects. Maybe we will do a cross over or maybe we will go print. Nobody knows and thats what we love about the future.
